Abstract: Introduction: This research reviews the use of the twin concept in improving security measures.Time and the ability to gain situational awareness are both crucial to the effectiveness of threat responses.Digital twins can enhance these attributes which in turn improves readiness and resilience in response capabilities within critical infrastructure sectors where threats are on the rise.twins on regulations and standards of practice of cybersecurity will be very important in order to allow organizations to utilize this new technology safely and efficiently.This research highlights the disruptive potential of the digital twin technology in enhancing cybersecurity practices and facilitating the search for new approaches to counter the ever-changing cyber threat landscape.
