Abstract: In the context of multicultural education in Indigenous areas, the learning of students in the basic education system is subject to various factors that mark a synergy of structural elements with human, physical, and administrative resources that aim to preserve a particular value system of culture, promoting the preservation of the language, while imparting universal knowledge of the six levels of educational training. This research approaches the analysis of these conditions to determine the process followed by educational organizations in the rescue of the indigenous Yokot’an language in the Miguel Hidalgo Primary School, in the municipality of Centla, Tabasco. For its realization, the work context was analyzed under a qualitative methodology, with descriptive scopes and transversal temporality in interviews with teachers of all levels from theoretical foundations in the theory of system and school organization. The results were presented using the Atlas.ti v24 software and interpreted in 17 main codes. The conclusions of the study show the vulnerability of cultural preservation due to the reduced time for linguistic promotion and the scarce or non-existent knowledge of the indigenous language among teachers.
