Abstract: Popular pedagogy as a value model constitutes the foundation of the formation of general human culture. Education having as its purpose the formation of the human personality, it aims at corresponding major objectives. Thus, we try an exploratory approach to the concept of the ideal man from the educational perspective of the people and the past, because today this concept can serve us as an example and a model for our society. The opening to the new in culture and valorization must start from the opening to the values of the past, and the openness to universality, from the openness to the national, to the specificity of universality.
