One-Pot Sodium Azide-Free Synthesis of Aryl Azides from Anilines

Abstract: This work presents an easy and efficient one-pot protocol for the synthesis of aryl azides without using sodium azide or hydrazine hydrate starting from anilines via aryl hydrazines. This protocol can be applied to anilines bearing groups with donating or withdrawal electronic characteristics.
