Abstract: The objective of the research was to evaluate three social training educational programs of a civil association in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The study followed a qualitative approach with a case study design and consisted of three research phases. In the first phase, documentary analysis of the programs’ information was conducted. In the second phase, a semi-structured interview was carried out with a key informant, along with brief telephone interviews with participants of the association’s programs. In the third phase, 30 individuals participated in four focus groups. The results indicated that the program with the most users was PAC. Key findings highlighted the need for greater dissemination of the programs, and the presence of strong content within them, but it is necessary to incorporate more practical elements on them. It was concluded that evaluating these types of programs is crucial to understanding community needs and strengthening decision-making regarding educational components.
