Abstract: The study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a family counseling program based on Effective dialogue skills in reducing marital silence among Palestinian women. The researchers employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The study sample comprised (30) participants, with (15) participants in each group. The researchers utilized a self-developed Marital Silence Scale alongside an adapted Family Counseling Program designed by the researchers. The results revealed statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of individuals in the experimental and control groups on both the Marital Silence Scale in favor of the experimental group. Furthermore, statistically significant differences were found at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of individuals in the experimental group pre and post-intervention on Marital Silence Scale in favor of the post-intervention assessment. The researchers recommends continuous support for individuals and couples after the completion of the counseling program through regular follow-up sessions or practical workshops. These sessions can be utilized to reinforce the concepts and skills learned during the program and guide individuals in applying them in their daily lives.
