Abstract: Antibiotic-loaded nano-delivery systems offer an advanced approach to overcoming several limitations associated with antibiotic therapy. Antibiotic-loaded nanocomposites can be applied topically for skin and wound healing post-operation implants to prevent abdominal adhesion and treat infections. Here, we developed the simple and effective amoxicillin-entrapped magnetite humic acid (organic with inorganic) hybrid nanoparticles by simple co-precipitation techniques to evaluate amoxicillin release properties and bioactivity. The designed nanosystem was carefully investigated using different characterization techniques like FTIR, XRD, SEM, and TEM to find the structure and morphology of the nanocomposite. Amoxicillin-entrapped hybrid nanocomposite has an attractive novel drug delivery vehicle for the cumulative release of antibiotics drugs to bacterial infection sites in an extended and controlled manner. The release rate of amoxicillin at pH-2.8 is 95 %, and pH-7.4 is 52 % drug release with the 22-hour intervals, respectively. This hybrid nanocomposite loaded with amoxicillin antibiotics drug significantly shows potential for controlled and targeted drug delivery to infected sites. The interaction of nanocomposite with CT DNA using absorption and emission measurements signifies that nanocomposite binds via an intercalation mode. The nanocomposite's binding constants (Kb and Ksv)are confirmed as 2.71103 M−1 and 1.26105 M −1by absorption and emission spectrum, respectively.
