Abstract: This paper describes the design of a multiband dual ring antenna, including a 16element phased array, spatial diversity, and pattern diversity MIMO antennas for future 5G and 6G mm-wave and tera-wave healthcare applications. The proposed antenna array operates at frequencies ranging from 12.991 GHz to 39.966 GHz, 62.114 GHz to 70.452 GHz, 88.04 GHz to 94.7 GHz, and 0.24 to 1 THz and provides moderate gain of 15.2 dB, 16.9 dB, 14.3 dB, 13.4 dB, and 25.5 dB at 28 GHz, 38 GHz, 66 GHz, 92 GHz, and 0.546 THz, respectively, and it encompasses the majority of the 5G mm-wave band, Wi-Gig band, Ku band of satellite communication, W-band, and sub-THz.The proposed antenna array provides strong beam steering capabilities across all operational bands.Spatial diversity and polarization diversity designs provide high isolation bandwidth and impedance bandwidth across all bands, as well as adequate diversity performance for enhanced channel capacity and S/N ratios. The suggested antenna's applications in healthcare are demonstrated. The proposed antenna can detect COVID or illnesses comparable to dengue fever by monitoring the stored water in lung phantoms (a lung infection) and the drop in blood dielectric constant, which implies an increase in blood glucose levels.CST (Computer Simulation Technology) software is used for designing and demonstrating antennas for healthcare applications.
