Abstract: Environmental accounting has become an increasingly important concept in measuring the ecological impact and sustainability of companies. In the context of business development that places more emphasis on environmental aspects, environmental accounting plays a vital role in recording, reporting, and analyzing costs and benefits related to activities that affect the environment. The main goal of environmental accounting is to provide relevant information for stakeholders in making sustainable decisions. Through this approach, companies can monitor and reduce their negative impact on the environment, while planning steps that support long-term sustainability. Additionally, environmental accounting can enhance transparency and accountability, which are increasingly valued by consumers, investors, and government bodies. Therefore, environmental accounting serves not only as a tool for measuring ecological impact but also as a key pillar in a company's sustainability strategy.
