Abstract 284: Feasibility of Flow Diversion of the Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysms: Experience in 47 Cases
Year: 2024
Type: conference-abstract
Abstract: Middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysms have traditionally been treated with open microsurgery techniques due to high occlusion rates and accessible anatomy. Although concerns about jailing terminal vessels initially limited endovascular treatment, recent studies show the technical success of flow diversion in small cohorts. We present early safety and efficacy outcomes from flow diversion embolization in 47 MCA aneurysm cases.
