Complex Educational Program for the Prevention of Infant Mortality: an Example of a Methodological Approach at the Regional Level (Khabarovsk Region)

Abstract: A strategically correct decision in 2017 was the creation of a compex educational program for the prevention of infant mortality in Khabarovsk Region. Over the period from 2012 to 2023, all specialists of Khabarovsk Region maternity and emergency medical services mastered manual skills in the simulation center. The coverage of such a number of people who underwent training with an increase in the quality of care contributed, among other things, to a decrease in infant mortality in Khabarovsk Region from 11.6‰ to 3.6‰, and early neonatal mortality from 5.6% to 0.9%.
