Abstract: In recent years, the study of the Chagatai ulus has been actively developing in the country. One of the methods used is the analysis of historical problems in combination with linguistic research within the framework of the source study of historical works. The treatise "Tauarihi guzide-i Nusrat name", written in the Chagatai language, also known as the Eastern Turkic or medieval literary Turkic language, has become an important object of study. It was spread among various Turkic peoples inhabiting Central Asia. A review of historical works of the Middle Ages written in Persian-Turkic and their source study will enrich the content of previous scientific achievements and allow us to draw conclusions on topical issues, expanding the topic with significant details. The purpose and tasks of the research. "Conducting a source analysis of data concerning specific historical figures mentioned in the Chagatai Khan section of the book 'Tauarikhi guzide-i Nusratname,' preserved in historical works written in the Middle Ages in Persian, Turkic, and other languages." Results. "The article addresses the challenge of uncovering the personalities of historical figures through the application of textual, source, hermeneutic, and comparative studies." Conclusion. In conclusion, it can be seen the scientific significance of the article will be increased by making a conclusion about the influence of the Turkish language in the Persian versions and vice versa, the Turkish language in the Persian versions through the linguistic and cultural studies conducted on the written heritage.
