Abstract: This study explores the use of colours in Andalusian poetry through their direct and indirect employment in the works of the poets Muhammad ibn Abdallah al-Qudai al-Balansi, known as Ibn al-Abbar, and Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Surayhi, known as Ibn Zamrak, particularly in their nature-themed poetry. The Andalusian poet was known for describing nature, including trees, flowers, rivers, and seas. This richly colored nature was a source of inspiration, fueling the poet’s sensory and emotional expressions as they wrote to honor and immortalize its beauty.
