Characteristics of the soil cover specially protected natural territories of the south of Russia
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The article presents a characteristic of the dynamics of the state of the soil cover of the protected landscape. The humus content in the soil ranges from 5.68 to 7.24%. The content of nitrate nitrogen in the soil is very low. Organic residues are decomposing in the turf horizons, so the content of mobile phosphorus is average. The content of exchangeable potassium is increased. The content of carbonates varies from 0.96 to 1.68% over the years of the study. The soils of the protected landscape are not saline, the cationic-anionic composition of the aqueous extract is chloride-sulfate. The structural condition of the soils is good. Perennial herbaceous vegetation has a beneficial effect on the structural condition of soils. The soils of the protected landscape "Persianovskaya reserved steppe" are fertile and have preserved the signs of soils of undisturbed structure.
