Type: article
Abstract: Pharmacogenetics is one of the dynamic and rapidly developing areas contributing to the development of personalized medicine. It is based on the determination of polymorphic variants of genes and drug tolerance, the development of side effects, as well as the clinical response to treatment. The study of polymorphisms of genes in the xenobiotic biotransformation system is one of the promising areas in the development of personalized medicine of multifactorial diseases. In this article, we presented literature data on the influence of polymorphisms in genes of the xenobiotic biotransformation system on the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy.
