Abstract: The article considers the demonstration exam as a form of intermediate certification. A review of research in this area has been conducted. A model of a professional (demonstration) exam as a form of intermediate certification in the discipline of the core of pedagogical education is presented using the example of the discipline “Creating a developing subject-spatial environment in a preschool educational organization” for future preschool education teachers, developed by the author’s team of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of Moscow Pedagogical State University.
