A study on Data Quality Improvement through the Application of Public Data Standards

Abstract: Public data quality is important in ensuring citizens’ right to use and improving the quality of life through private sector utilization. However, the quality of data is seriously deteriorating in the system where public data is operated. To solve this problem, data quality management and standardization were performed, and data quality was improved by applying it to the database of the system in operation. This paper presents a method and case of applying data standardization when designing a database, and Through this study, the application of public data standardization was able to contribute to improving the quality level of public data.
