Abstract: The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in school counseling has the potential to revolutionize the way counseling services are delivered through the provision of personalized support and data-driven decision-making. This paper explores the potential opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations of using AI in Malaysian school counseling. The paper also highlights several ethical considerations that must be taken into account when integrating AI into school counseling practices, such as protecting students’ privacy and avoiding bias in AI-generated data. Overall, this paper provides a comprehensive exploration on the potential of using AI in Malaysian school counseling and highlights the opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations that are applicable when implementing the technology into school counseling.
