Concerns and Challenges Associated With the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (gai) by Society and Organizations: an Overview

Abstract: Given the advances in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and the increase in the supply of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technological solutions, this article aimed to explore and understand the main concerns and challenges associated with this technology, as well as the implications related to its adoption by society and organizations. The method used was theoretical and descriptive research with a narrative review, using bibliographic research from two databases. It was found that issues such as reliability, ethics, security and privacy, prejudice, lack of regulation, environmental impact and social implications are the subject of concern in the studies identified, with regulation of the use of AI and AI literacy being extremely relevant.
