Abstract: This article aims to reveal the peculiarities of the term maviza, which embodies meanings such as “advice”, “guidance”, “exhortation”. Uzbek, Persian, and Turkish dictionaries were used to cover the term “maviza”. The poets of maviza were mentioned and their works were interpreted artistically.
