Precarização, Avanço Do Capital E Formação De Consciência Coletiva Na Música Dos Racionais Mc's
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This article investigates the intersectionality between Law and Music, grounded in critical theories of Labor Law and the analysis of musical discourse as an instrument of social transformation. Based on the theoretical framework of Marx, Jessé Souza, and Ricardo Antunes on alienated labor and work precarization, it examines how music can be used to denounce social ills affecting the working class and foster collective resistance consciousness. The study focuses on the precarization of labor relations driven by neoliberalism, which fragments workers' organization. Through analytical methodology based on literature review, it examines how the work of the group Racionais MC's articulates critiques of labor exploitation and proposes forms of resistance. Results indicate that music transcends entertainment, establishing itself as a mobilization tool that challenges the logic of capital and its exploitative practices.
