Abstract: With the increasing prevalence of digital tools in the workplace, a form of work characterized by the use of information and communication Technologies (referred to as digital work) has begun to gain traction. The availability of digital tools has led to a continuous connection between workers and their jobs, thereby blurring the boundaries between working hours and personal life. In this context, the right to disconnect becomes significant. The right to disconnect refers to the right to sever connections through the communication tools used for work-related purposes without facing any negative repercussions within the employment relationship. Employers reaching out to employees regarding work-related matters outside of working hours can adversely affect the workers' family and personal lives and may constitute an infringement on the employee's privacy. Therefore, it is crucial to ascertain the legal status of the right to disconnect within our legal framework, determine the actions that both employers and employees can take to facilitate the exercise of this right, and emphasize the avenues available for redress in the event of a violation of this right.
