Abstract: Ocimum commonly known as Tulsi belongs to family Lamiaceac. Tulsi is important source of herbal medicine. In this article we have compared the DNA quantity among four species of Ocimum namely O. Sanctum. O. tenuifolium, O. basilicum & O. gratissmum after extractions of DNA from each species separately by CTAB-method.
