Abstract: This article recounts the history of the Sylvia Townsend Warner and Valentine Ackland Archive from its first location in the Dorset County Museum to its current housing in the Dorset History Centre. It describes Judith Bond’s work in recording the thousands of miscellaneous items and describes some of the most interesting holdings and features of this Archive.
