Abstract: Economic fluctuations affect financial development and even national development trends. A variety of forecasting methods are generally used to demonstrate the rationality and scientificity of economic development guidelines and policies. Among various forecasting techniques, the combination of Error Correction Model (ECM) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) is the most representative and effective. This paper introduces the basic principles and application methods of ECM and support vector machine (SVM) methods, applies this forecasting technology to the research of financial development and economic fluctuation factors, and finally explores the factors affecting economic growth.
