Eficiência energética de abrigos emergenciais: um estudo de estruturas WikiHouse na Zona Bioclimática 2

Abstract: The increase in climate events is leaving thousands of people homeless. This research proposes the creation of emergency shelters prototypes based on the energy efficiency of Bioclimatic Zone 2 in Santa Catarina, due to its predominance in the state. By using the WikiHouse system, the prototypes demonstrated satisfactory efficiency, particularly in their passive conditioning use. Both the cooling and heating of the buildings performed well, making the proposed model feasible. It is concluded that this shelter represents an applicable solution to the climate challenges in the region, promoting resilience in the face of such events.
