Abstract: This article intends to present the landscape in Herberto Helder's poetry, based on the analysis of some of the author's poems. Thus, through the concept of landscape as the perception of a space, of which the process takes place in the dependence between subject, place and representation, each poem unfolds in different landscapes from the horizon through which it is perceived by the lyric subject. For the different images generated, contribute references to the aesthetics of the poet who, with the landscapes created, manages to manifest in a sharp way the intensity of being a body in motion in the world.
