Abstract: This research aims to identify the effect of an educational program using introductory games on the level of performance of basic skills for beginners in basket ball. It used the experimental approach. The research sample included (40) novice basket ball players at Mansoura Sports Stadium. Use data collection methods: content analysis, personal interviews, tests, and scales to collect data. The most important results were the positivity and effectiveness of the educational program using introductory games on the level of performance of the skills under study in basket ball. The experimental group that used the introductory games outperformed the control group that used the traditional method.
