Abstract: This research examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI)-driven educational tools on the academic success of college students in Coastal Karnataka. The convergence of information technology and education has significantly altered the academic environment, with AI applications playing a pivotal role in this transformation. The objective of the study is to assess how AI tools affect learning effectiveness, student involvement, and overall academic performance. Utilizing a mixed-methods framework, the research incorporated surveys, interviews, and case studies to collect data from a varied cohort of college students. The principal findings indicate that AI tools can markedly improve educational outcomes by offering tailored learning experiences, streamlining administrative processes, and promoting collaborative learning. Nonetheless, the study also addresses the challenges linked to AI adoption, including issues related to data privacy and the risk of diminishing human interaction. In summary, the research provides important insights into the advantages and disadvantages of AI-enhanced educational tools and suggests strategies for their successful integration into higher education.
