Summary of the ICHEP2024 Joint EDI-Sustainability Discussion Session

Abstract: The 42nd International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP2024) hosted a joint discussion session on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and environmental sustainability. This note provides an anonymized summary of the topics discussed in this session. The feedback received from the participants is used to begin informing a Theory of Change for the high energy physics community with the aim of creating a sustainable and inclusive future for the field. This note also serves as a call to others in the field to consult on and further develop this Theory of Change.
