Abstract: Scope: The Impact Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing strategic leadership and support for litigation to achieve economic and social justice.The organization provides funding to nonprofit legal firms, private attorneys and/or small law firms involved in impact litigation in the areas of civil rights, environmental justice and poverty law.It also offers technical support, training and expertise on issues that arise in large scale social impact litigation.The organization's goal is to support public interest litigation that will potentially benefit a large number of people, lead to significant law reform or raise public consciousness.
