Abstract: Post-Kantian philosophy implies both continuity and discontinuity with Kantian principles. Without Reinhold’s interpretation, there is no Kant, according to many. Fichte is closely linked to Kantian philosophy, but the Wissenschaftslehre represents a distance. Hegel and Schelling, as their correspondence shows, are deeply convinced that philosophy does not end with Kant, since Kant “only gave the results”; the premises are still missing. Moreover, this premise is the Grundsatz that Reinhold also lacks.
