The Impact of Computing Technologies on Analysis of English Literature and Linguistics

Abstract: The computing technologies have revolutionized the research methodologies, presentation of literary works, and analysis of literary text up to a greater extent. Keeping in view the context, the researchers selected 50 relevant respondents from the public sector universities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Close-ended questionnaire was used to collect the data. The data was analysed through simple statistical tool. The study found that computing technologies have facilitated the researchers of English literature and Linguistics with new analytical tools by making the analysis more effective, objective and accurate. This study recommends to utilize computing technologies for analysis of literary and linguistic texts instead of using traditional and subjective methods of analysis.
