Abstract: This study examines the efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) systems connected to the electric grid, identifying key factors from solar irradiation capture to energy injection. Using PVSyst, various scenarios were analyzed, focusing on module orientation, tilt angle, shading, soiling, inverter efficiency, electrical losses and availability. Results highlight that understanding local system conditions is essential for maximizing efficiency. The research underscores the importance of monitoring, preventive measures, and advanced technologies to enhance PV system reliability and financial returns, contributing to the sustainable energy transition.
