Abstract: One of the characteristics of the pediatric larynx is a short aryepiglottic fold; however, there is no definition of the length of the short aryepiglottic fold. Usually, we judge the length to be shorter or longer than that of something. We reported the length of the vocal folds as judged by measurements of the aryepiglottic fold. We herein examined the relationship between the length of the aryepiglottic fold and vocal folds.
