Estimate of the Dimensions of the Gasification Zone on the Water Surface When an Underwater Gas Well Is Flowing

Abstract: The article considers the process of the spread of gas emissions on the sea surface when a gas well with an underwater head is accidently flowing. A new express-method for calculating the boundaries of the gasification zone formed by gas exiting the water surface is described. The method is based on a series of computational experiments in the software complex «Toxi+Risk» with subsequent approximation of the obtained results.
