Abstract: Aging is associated with increased bodily dysfunction and risk of age-related diseases. The cause of aging is considered to inflammaging and immunosenescence resulting from the accumulation of senescent cells in the body with age. Eliminating senescent cells or limiting their secretory phenotype has become the goal of many studies. It has been shown that anti-aging reduces the risk of developing age-related diseases and alleviates and slows down their development. Among the anti-aging compounds, we distinguish senolytics, which cause death of senescent cells, and senomorphics, which lead to reduced secretion of various types of active substances from senescent cells. A number of compounds with anti-aging properties have been identified. These include natural compounds such as curcumin, quercetin, fisetin and rapamycin. Both animal and preclinical studies of natural compounds have shown their high effectiveness. Currently, numerous clinical trials are being conducted on the anti-aging effects of various compounds, including many natural ones.
