Abstract: Communicative activities play a fundamental role in language learning by providing students with opportunities to use language in meaningful and interactive contexts. These activities help learners develop fluency, accuracy, and confidence while encouraging collaboration, creativity, and cultural awareness. This paper categorizes communicative activities into oral and written forms, highlighting their various subtypes, such as discussions, problem-solving tasks, role-playing, and cooperative writing. Additionally, the study explores the benefits of communicative activities in enhancing student motivation, interaction, fluency, and real-world language application. The findings support the integration of communicative methods in language teaching to improve overall linguistic competence and engagement.
