Abstract: Results: A total of 30 patients were enrolled. The average age was 38.8 6 11.4 years, and 76.7% were women. Our results suggest that when compared against DVT incidence, LCIV diameter at stenosis (AUC ¼ 0.85; log 2 fold change ¼ À0.91; P ¼ .002)and LCIV flow rate at stenosis (AUC ¼ 0.94; log 2 fold change ¼ À2.65; P ¼ .009)had significant predictive value, whereas LCIV shear rate, IVC mean velocity, LCIV/RCIV mean velocity ratio, and LCIV/RCIV shear rate ratio had no statistically significant correlations with DVT incidence (P > .05)(Table, Fig). Conclusions: Here, we present standardized, non-invasive diagnostic criteria that correlate with DVT in NIVL patients. These metrics may be valuable in identifying asymptomatic patients with moderate stenosis for whom stenting is indicated, thus helping prevent future thrombotic episodes and decreasing overuse of invasive interventions.Further studies are needed to validate these metrics using randomized and prospective trials to determine whether they are effective to proactively assess for risk of thrombotic episodes.
