Abstract: Detection of Amelanotic and Hypomelanomatic Melanomas (AHMs) could be suspected with dermoscopy mainly based on the characteristics of the vasculature. Diagnosis is confirmed with histology. Patients with a diagnosis of AHM should be screened for SPCs, even at an advanced age.
