Abstract: The article considers the financial market and the structure of its instruments. The authors reveal the content of the capital market, money market, currency market, stock market and derivatives market. The structure of instruments of each type of markets is presented. The use of financial instruments at the present stage of financial market development in Russia is analyzed.
