AUMENTO DE SENSIBILIDADE AO REFORÇO COM REFORÇADORES CONDICIONADOS: Estudo único de caso com TEA
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) refers to a broad range of behavioral, cognitive, motor, and social alterations. Some children with ASD exhibit restricted interests, learning difficulties, and low motivation. This case study aimed to investigate the development of sensitivity to reinforcement in a single subject who displayed low sensitivity to reinforcers in their repertoire, similarly showing little interest in complying with demands that produce conditioned and arbitrary reinforcers. The research objective was to expand the repertoire in this subject, thereby making the participant more likely to emit responses to produce arbitrary reinforcers through record-based techniques of free-operant and repertoire development. Following the intervention, we observed an average session duration of 110 minutes, expansion of reinforcers to 6 new objects, and increased learner engagement in activities.
