Abstract: This article is devoted to the peculiarities of launching and implementing a pilot project to change the levels of professional pedagogical education based on the experience of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, as well as effective practices of the educational and scientific cluster «Institute of Education and Humanities» of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, the implementation of which contributes to the formation and development of professional identity of students of pedagogical directions in the period of university training, the primary professionalization of students, the formation of a positive attitude of students to their chosen profession, their willingness to work effectively and successfully in the relevant professional field, as well as independently, productively and meaningfully manage the process of building a career throughout their lives. Based on the analysis of the features of the organization of the environment for supporting the professionalization of students at the Baltic Federal University.
