Abstract: Dental anomalies, encompassing a wide range of structural, developmental, and functional deviations, can significantly affect the oral health of individuals. Early diagnosis is crucial in ensuring proper management and preventing the progression of these anomalies. This study aims to review the diagnostic approaches to various dental anomalies, focusing on advanced imaging techniques, clinical evaluation, and genetic factors. We discuss the significance of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing the role of dental professionals in detecting abnormalities early in their development. Furthermore, we explore the role of genetics and environmental factors in the manifestation of these anomalies. The study highlights the need for improved diagnostic protocols and innovative treatment modalities that will enhance patient care.
