Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study explores the transformative potential of Virtual Reality (VR), Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in empowering minority women in Xinjiang, China, by addressing systemic educational and economic inequalities. The research investigates how these technologies can bridge gaps in access to quality education, promote financial inclusion, and foster sustainable economic development in a region characterized by cultural diversity and gendered socioeconomic challenges. VR offers immersive and flexible learning environments, enabling bilingual education and cultural preservation. Blockchain facilitates secure financial transactions and market access, empowering women entrepreneurs. AI supports personalized learning and vocational training, enhancing skills for emerging industries. Despite these opportunities, challenges such as resource constraints, cultural resistance, and infrastructural limitations hinder widespread adoption. This paper provides actionable recommendations for integrating technology with local cultural contexts, emphasizing the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration, infrastructure investment, and tailored policy design to ensure sustainable and inclusive development.
