Type: article
Abstract: In 2020, sorghum cultivation occupied 55% of the total area sown with cereals and is the leading cereal crop in the eastern region of Burkina Faso. However, the continuous decline in soil fertility leads to a decrease in yields of this cereal from year to year. Therefore, the search for alternatives accessible to producers appears to be a necessity through a harmonious management of soil fertility in this part of Burkina Faso.In order to contribute to the understanding of the issues related to the improvement of sorghum productivity, a study was conducted in a peasant environment in the commune of Fada N'Gourma in eastern Burkina Faso. The experimental design used was a split-plot with nine (09) treatments and four (04) repetitions. The highest available K value comes from the T7 treatment with 66.35 mg.ha -1 soil. For the assimilable P, the highest content comes from the T8 treatment Combined effects … Bazongo Pascal et al.
