Abstract: Under an executive order from Illinois Gov. JB Pritzer, the Department of Mental Health and the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) will consolidate with the aim of reducing administrative burdens for providers. Additionally, the merger will improve outcomes and access to care, officials stated.
