Abstract: Migraine is a complex neurological disorder primarily characterized by recurrent episodes of severe headache, often affecting one side of the head. These headaches are throbbing in nature and can last anywhere from 2 to 72 hours. The intensity of pain can vary from moderate to severe, and it is typically aggravated by physical activity. In addition to the headache, individuals with migraines frequently experience associated symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and heightened sensitivity to light, sound, or smell. A distinguishing feature in up to one-third of sufferers is the occurrence of an aura, a brief visual or sensory disturbance that signals the onset of the headache.
