Abstract: In order to accelerate the pace of self-reliance and self-strengthening in high-level science and technology, solve the “new materials chock” issue in the nonferrous metal industry, promote the combination of industry, academia and R&D in the field of nonferrous metal new materials, and power the high-quality development of the local nonferrous metal industry, the “2024 (4th) International Conference of Non-Ferrous Materials” is scheduled to be held in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province on November 22-24, 2024 (22nd for registration). The size of the congress will be more than 2000 people. The “2024 (4th) International Conference of Non-Ferrous Materials” is an important academic conference in the field of nonferrous metals materials sponsored by the Nonferrous Metals Society of China, hosted by Beijing University of Technology and Henan Academy of Sciences, co-hosted by a number of universities, research institutes and enterprises engaged in nonferrous metals industry, which is held once a year, and 2024 will be the fourth conference. The purpose of the conference is to build an international exchange platform for domestic and foreign experts engaged in the scientific research, development and industrialization of nonferrous metal materials, heads of the relevant administrative department of the government, entrepreneurs and other relevant personnel, in order to share the latest research achievements in the field of materials for mutual promotion and common enhancement, and to improve the status and role of new materials in national economy and social development.
