Abstract: Welding work has the potential to cause risks and hazards that can occur in the workplace. Factories and workers have a responsibility to carry out work safely, comfortably, without endangering individuals and others. This study aims to identify and analyze the risk of work accidents in the CV. X welding workshop. The HIRA method used to prevent work accidents includes activities, hazards, consequences and control measures, then determines the level of risk status. The study was conducted on the welding work unit for employees who do welding (welders). The results of the study showed a very high risk status level of 20 and the color red, where the danger arises from welding activities, namely bent hands, hands without gloves, bent legs of welders and hearing due to noise.
